Do you offer home visits and which areas do you cover?

Yes—domiciliary appointments are available across Rainhill, Widnes, and nearby postcodes (L 35, WA8, WA9, WA10 and surrounding). If you’re unsure, send your postcode and I’ll confirm coverage and availability.

Are you registered?

Yes—HCPC-registered Podiatrist and member of the Royal College of Podiatry. Your care follows current professional and safety standards.

Do you treat children?

Yes. I see patients of all ages for ingrown toenails, verrucae, skin conditions and more. I’ll tailor assessment and treatment to your child’s needs.

How much does treatment cost?

Fees vary by appointment type and location (clinic vs home visit). You’ll see prices during online booking, and I’m happy to confirm by message before you book. Check current fees →

Which payment methods do you accept?

Card payments and cash are accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the start time without any fee.

For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment or for no-shows, a fee of £20 will be charged.

If you reschedule your appointment, your payment will automatically transfer to your future booking.

How do you ensure infection control and safety?

I follow clinical best practice for decontamination, instrument sterilisation, and personal protective equipment. Learn more about my approach to cleaning instruments before autoclaving →

Do you perform nail surgery and what is recovery like?

Where appropriate, partial nail removal with phenolisation may be offered for recurrent ingrown toenails. Local anaesthetic is used and most people resume light activity within a day; dressing changes and aftercare advice are provided.

I have diabetes—what should I expect from a foot assessment?

I’ll assess circulation, sensation, skin and nail health, footwear, and risk level. You’ll receive personalised advice to prevent problems and a plan for follow‑up where needed.

What should I have ready for my home visit?

Before I visit, I’ll send a secure online form so you can share your details at your own pace. On the day, please have your usual shoes (and any insoles/orthotics), an up-to-date medication list, and any relevant letters to hand. Photos of any concerns are also helpful.

What if I have an urgent foot problem?

If you think it’s an emergency—such as rapidly spreading redness, severe pain, heat/swelling, or fever—seek urgent care immediately (call 999 or go to A&E). Otherwise, please use the contact form or message me and I’ll offer the earliest available appointment. If you’re unsure whether it’s urgent, you can call NHS 111 for advice.
